Ed Schwartz has had a long career as an educator, a therapist, a social activist and a writer. He has worked in �special� settings such as prisons and mental hospitals. He has been the director of a private school, and has used his own writings in both Quaker youth and adult education. His latest books�Shakespeare Poemscripts (2001) and Bringers of the Light (2003)�have been used both for art-drama projects and community-building. He is currently the coclerk of the Quaker Meeting in West Falmouth, Massachusetts.
