Quakers and the Energy Crisis: What can Friends Offer the Movement for Change?
Friends have been at the forefront of many of the great political movements of the last two centuries. Quakers are engaged again with the emerging environmental movements addressing climate change, resource depletion and sustainability issues. Is there a particular contribution that Friends can make to these movements? What is there in Quaker tradition and practice that might be of practical use to these movements?
Are you a Friend or attender? We would be delighted if you could take part in our research. We have designed a questionnaire to help us find out more about Quakers' and attenders' approaches to environmental issues and their hopes and fears for the future. Download the questionnaire here (doc - 33 kb).
