QCEA has been studying how the EU mainstreams conflict prevention in the ACP-countries and has published two reports on the topic .

In 2006, the European Commission had a public consultation to inform the development of a European Energy Policy.
QCEA was disappointed by some of the content of the Green Paper and responsed to the consultation.
