Our
worship service has neither prepared speakers nor music. However, we have a few musicians who get
together First Day morning, before worship.
("First
Day" is Sunday, the first day of the week.) We
pick songs as we feel led, not according to a program. We don't rehearse, so we
don't perform perfectly. Our spontaneity serves other purposes.
Perhaps
a particular song ministers
to a particular person's needs at the time it is
sung. Perhaps God can inspire a song that ministers to all of us. For many, it
is an important part of worship First Day morning.
