About this text and Edward Dommen

Edward Dommen is Swiss and a member of Geneva Meeting. He is clerk of the Quaker Council for European Affairs. He publishes regularly on economic ethics and is the author of an introduction to the Quakers in French (Les Quakers; Le Cerf, 1990.) By profession he is an economist with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).

This collection of quotations was originally circulated as a background document for the 18th Triennial of the Friends World Committee for Consultation, held in Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu, New Mexico, USA, from August 15 to 24, 1994.
