New Resources: The Resources page has been updated with a copy of the Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting’s Deed List and an updated version of Faith and Practice, containing all the changes approved by Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting business sessions.  This makes the copy of Faith and Practice maintained on this website a living document that will be kept up to date with approved changes made by the Yearly Meeting.  Seth Furnas’ 1968 Indiana Yearly Meeting History has also been added.

Spotlight on Ministry

Where love is made visible by service

The largest ministry of Ohio Valley Yearly Meeting, Quaker Heights Care Community began in 1905 as a boarding home built under the care and support of the Yearly Meeting.

The current Spotlight on Ministry article is on Quaker Heights Care Community: its history, vision, values, and needs.  There is also a link at the end of the article to the recently published book on the history of giving to Friends Boarding Home (now known as Quaker Heights) by Genealogist Karen Campbell.
