Dictator Adenoid Hynkel of Tomania is challenged by his rival Benzino Napaloni of Bacteria in Chaplin's first talkie. Chaplin plays two roles: the Jewish barber and Dictator Hynkel.

Brian, a Jew living under Roman occupation, joins the Judean People's Front (challenged by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Judea), and has a hard time persuading people he is not the Messiah. Monty Python's hi-jinx are shown here in high gear.

* Roger and Me

Moore tries to interview the Chairman of General Motors, Roger Smith, to ask him why he closed GM's plant in Flint, Michigan, eliminating thousands of jobs in that city. The footage of a Fourth of July parade in Flint, that of a woman in Flint trying to make a living selling "Rabbits: Pets or Meat", and that of Smith giving a speech at GM's Christmas Party are mischievously intermingled.
