Re:������ Mount Toby Meeting Burial Ground

Last month the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Leverett finally approved our request that the Burial Ground be located on Meeting land, as proposed by us some time ago. The delay came from the fact that the Board of Health had been unable to locate evidence that the location had passed a groundwater test some years ago. Now we are able to go ahead and plan for the burial of the remains of persons who are approved for burial.

Such future plans are under the jurisdiction of the committee of Overseers. With this short report, I suggest that the Burial Ground Committee, of which I am the only remaining member, be laid down.
