Rates at the Lauramoore
Room rates at the Lauramoore are intentionally kept as low as
possible.
The Lauramoore Friends Home is incorporated as a non-profit organization,
and receives gifts from individuals and organizations which help to pay
for repairs and maintenance, as well as hundreds of volunteer hours every
year.
Room rates start at $895 per month, depending on the room.
This rate covers your room and furnishings, 3 meals a day, housekeeping,
utilities, and use of all of the public rooms of the Lauramoore.
You may bring your own furniture to your room at the Lauramoore
if you wish.
Private telephones may be installed in rooms; responsibility
for payment is up to the individual resident. There is a public phone available
for those who do not wish to have one on their rooms. Cable television
hook-up is available in your room on the same basis.
Baths are private or shared by 1 other room.
A staff person is on duty 24 hours a day. Call buttons
are in all rooms.
If needed, home health care can be arranged by the Lauramoore
with an outside provider.
Residents may have their own cars; off-street parking space
is available.
Washer and dryer are available for personal laundry at
a nominal charge.
