Opportunities
This Fall, FPTP plans to recruit and help support volunteers to Christian Peacemaker Teams. Volunteers should apply to CPT and contact FPTP as soon as possible. FPTP's guidelines for sponsorship include: a clearness or discernment process within an applicant's Meeting; forwarding of a copy of the applicant's CPT application to FPTP; and making a plan for fund raising, oversight and spiritual support by the applicant and his or her supporting Meeting. Volunteers who wish to join CPT's part-time Reserve Corps (pledging 2-8 weeks of service annually for three years) or full-time Peacemaker Corps (a three year commitment that will be stipended by CPT/FPTP) are urged to plan to participate in a short-term team (delegation) or site visit prior to the Corps training, Dec. 27, 1997-Jan.20, 1998.
