Tuition assistance
is available from Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting
for members' children (grades K 12) attending a
Friends School. Tuition assistance funds available
from CHFM vary each year -- over the past 3 years,
grants have ranged from 6.5% to 13% of the total
tuition cost for each child.
Please complete this application (one for each child)
and return it with the completed PYM application
to Dona Garrettson, clerk of CHFM's Tuition Assistance
Committee, no later than January 30, 2006. Applications
received by this date will be considered in early
February and returned to you in time for the schools'
February 15 deadline.

Tuition assistance funds are generally divided proportionally
among the pool of children applying, based on the
total tuition costs for all applicants and the total
amount of CHFM funds available. Family financial
situations vary greatly, and the committee asks that
parents consider whether there is a fixed amount
that is needed to make Friends School tuition possible
for their child. (If you designate a specific amount,
the committee will award no more than this amount
for your child, based on available funds.)
Please check one:
( Our family needs no more than $ ___________ in
tuition assistance from CHFM.
OR
( Our family would like to apply for whatever aid
is possible from CHFM, based on a proportion of tuition
and CHFM funds available.
