Quaker Quest Session
Outline --
- From 1:00 to 1:30
pm there will be a half
hour of refreshments and greetings before the session begins.
- At 1:30 activities
will start with introductions,
followed by brief presentations from three Atlanta Friends who will
each share their spiritual journey, experiences and personal views
regarding the session's topic.
- After the first round of
presentation, participants will be
invited to share and discuss their own experiences around the session
topic in
three person breakout groups.
- The three presenters will
then share the brief conclusions of their talks, following up with a
question and answer period for group discussions.
- At 3:00 pm
participants will be invited to share in 30
minutes of Quaker silent worship.
- The afternoon will conclude with
refreshments and casual dialog
from 3:30 to 4:00 pm.
All are welcome, including children,
and Child Care will be provided
for all sessions.
Quaker Quest sessions are free of
charge, though donations are accepted and appreciated.
